Effective and Simple Homemade Tips for Lips Care

Lips are more tender in nature and is a basic feature that represents your face and expression. Hence they need to be kept crack free and moist. To get a natural pink color on your lips, its very important to follow a proper lip care regime on regular basis.  Here are few effective and simple homemade tips for lips care

1. Coconut Oil-Honey:

  • Mix coconut oil with honey.
  • Apply it to the cracked or dry lips and massage for sometime.

2. Lemon Juice-Coriander Leaves:

  • Mix fresh coriander leaves juice with 2 tea spoon lemon juice.
  • Apply this to the lips and clean after 15mins.
  • Try this weekly twice to turn your lips red.

3. Beetroot:

  • Take 2 teaspoon of beetroot juice.
  • Gently apply to your lips.
  • Daily application of beetroot juice keeps your lips pink and healthy.

4. Honey-Lemon-Glycerin:

  • Make a mixture with 1 teaspoon lime juice, 4 drops of Honey, 2 drops of Glycerin.
  • And apply to your lips everyday.
  • This avoids the dryness and darkening of the lips.

5. Coconut oil:  

  • Take 1 teaspoon of Coconut Oil.
  • Gently Massage to your lips.
  • Massaging with coconut oil before bed makes your lips more smoother.

6. Butter: 

  • Take small quantity of Butter.
  • Gently apply to your lips.
  • Massaging with butter every night before bed results smooth and pinkish lips.

7.  Olive oil: 

  • Take 1 teaspoon of Olive Oil.
  • Gently Massage to your lips.
  • Daily application of Olive oil makes your lips crack free and moist.

8. Almond Oil-Coconut Oil:

  • Take equal proportions of Almond oil and Coconut oil.
  • Apply it to your lips.
  • This removes the dead skin on the lips leaving moist.

9. Butter-Turmeric:

  • Take 1 teaspoon of butter and a pinch of turmeric powder.
  • Mix it well and apply it to your lips every night before bed.

10. Tomato-Coconut Oil:

  • Add 4 drops of coconut oil in 6 drops of Tomato juice.
  • Apply this to your lips before bed every night.

 Remember the following for healthy lips

  • Avoid licking or biting of your lips, this dries out lips.
  • Stay hydrated to keep your lips moist.
  • Stop smoking and limit your caffeine intake. This is the major reasons why your lips become dark.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
  • Take high water content fruits in your daily diet. Ex: Watermelon, Orange, Cucumber,lemon etc.
  • Maintain a healthy diet and eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
